The results of the work over the past year were summed up in a TB dispensary. The guests of the medical council were the chief physician of Republican Clinical TB Dispensary Aleksey Alekseev, head of the Department of Health Sergey Meryasev and Deputy head of the Rospotrebnadzor Lilia Nesterova.
The main report was delivered by the chief physician of the TBD, Ildar Kamaltdinov. He said that compared to last year, the incidence of tuberculosis in Nizhnekamsk has decreased by 18.8% and now amounts to 20.3 cases per 100,000 people – this is the lowest rate in the republic. In total, 56 Nizhnekamsk residents, including two teenagers, were diagnosed with tuberculosis last year.
The chief physician also recalled that the Nizhnekamsk TBD serves 8 more districts with a total population of 649,000 people. The TBD employs 128 people, including 13 doctors, 6 of whom are specialists of retirement age. This year, three young doctors will come to work at the dispensary.
Despite the fact that last year turned out to be difficult to provide planned medical care and planned examinations, the dispensary managed to fulfill the plan for fluorographic examinations – 144,719 residents of the district, including 8,000 villagers, were examined. During fluorographic examinations, not only tuberculosis is detected – for several years now, statistics on other detected diseases have been kept in the TBD. So, last year, 51 Nizhnekamsk residents had cancer, 597 people – cardiovascular diseases, and another 1414 people – non-specific diseases of the chest.
"The vector of development of your institution is correct, you have achieved good results and, despite all the difficulties, you have coped with your task last year. Your contribution to the fight against tuberculosis is very significant for the whole republic. Thank you very much for your work!" - Alexey Alekseev, the chief physician of the RCTBD, thanked his colleagues.
After the final meeting in the TB dispensary, seven employees were awarded departmental awards.

Anna Ivanovna Belova, an orderly, a canteen worker of the tuberculosis pulmonary department #2;
Olga Vasilyevna Ozernova, ward nurse of the tuberculosis pulmonary department #2.
The certificate of honor of the Health Department for the Nizhnekamsk Municipal District was received by the district phthisiologist of dispensary department Ruzilya Gabdelkhakovna Valieva.
The medical laboratory technician of the bacteriological laboratory Lilia Rasimovna Minnebaeva received a letter of thanks from the Health Department for the Nizhnekamsk Municipal District.
