In the Dermatovenerologic Dispensary of the city of Nizhnekamsk, the past year's work results were summed up. Although the pandemic left its mark and planned medical care was suspended, the dispensary coped with all planned indicators by 100%.
In his report, the chief doctor of the DVD, Alexandr Karpov, said that the level of general morbidity decreased by 4.2%. Last year, the residents of Nizhnekamsk applied to dermatologists 34,458 times, to venereologists 21,377 times. 3,230 children and adolescents and 4,735 adults applied to the DVD for the first time.
548 patients with dermatological diseases were treated in the hospital, most often the residents of Nizhnekamsk treated with psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, microsporidia, herpes, scabies, and urticaria. Another 64 people were treated for venereal diseases.
660 citizens received treatment in the day hospital, most often Nizhnekamsk residents sought help with eczema, atopic dermatitis, dermatophytosis, and psoriasis. Also, 73 residents of Zainsk turned to dermatovenerologists. One patient was hospitalized with urticaria.
More than 300 patients with skin neoplasms were examined, and 70 people were referred to oncologists. This year, it is planned to conduct examinations for malignant neoplasms once a month.
The incidence of sexually transmitted infections decreased by 7.6%. Nizhnekamsk residents have become less likely to suffer from syphilis, trichomoniasis, and chlamydia. In the structure of the incidence of STDs, anogenital warts are in the first place, followed by chlamydia, trichomoniasis, and gonorrhea.
There were also fewer infectious skin diseases: the incidence of dermatophytosis and scabies decreased by 3.9% and 0.3%, respectively.
