From this year, attending physicians from Kazan will work on probation in Germany
From 2021, attending physicians of Kazan Kazan will be able to work on probation in Germany.
Kazan Medical University has signed a cooperation agreement with a network of German clinics. The first master-class on this program has already been held in the Republican Clinical Hospital of Tatarstan. The master-class was conducted for attending physicians by the German surgeon Asad Kutup.
As the press service of the Republican Clinical Hospital told the agency, the specialist came to Kazan due to the new training program. From 2021, attending physicians will leave for a practical training in Germany, as well as they will attend operations and lectures by German specialists in Kazan. In turn, attending physicians from Germany will come to practical training in Russia.
"We are sending a group of young specialists there, about 12 people for practical training. They are future of surgery and intensive care. Also, specialists from Germany will come to us, conduct demonstration operations for attending physicians and exchange experience with Kazan surgeons," said Dmitry Krasilnikov, Head of the Department of Surgical Diseases of Kazan State Medical University, Head of the Surgical Service of the Republican Clinical Hospital.
Recently, Asad Kutup operated on two Kazan patients with bowel cancer. 10 attending physicians of Kazan attended on the operations.
