Nizhnekamsk doctors answered questions about vaccination live

15 March 2021, Monday

Dozens of questions from Nizhnekamsk residents about vaccination against COVID-19 were answered live on NTR-24 by the head of the Health Department Sergey Meryasev and the chief visiting epidemiologist of the Health Department Elena Piskareva.

The conversation with the audience turned out to be open and honest, and the questions addressed by the residents of Nizhnekamsk were diverse.

One of the callers asked if the health workers were vaccinated. Unfortunately, the live broadcast was already coming to an end and we did not have time to answer the question, but we want to remind you that Sergey Meryasev was one of the first to get vaccinated at the end of December.

After the live broadcast, Elena Piskareva shared that she was pleased with the interest and activity of Nizhnekamsk residents: "I was pleased that our population began to doubt unreliable information on the Internet. For us, the broadcast has become a good feedback - people are worried about their future, for their relatives and want to protect themselves. But, unfortunately, despite all the information work carried out, not everyone understands that they are at risk, and someone still does not realize the importance of vaccination. Therefore, once again, we want to remind you – if you are in doubt, worried about your disease, consult your doctor. He will collect the medical history and decide whether you can be vaccinated or not."
