On the basis of the Kama Children's Medical Center, a republican workshop for nursing staff on the topic "Psychoemotional State of Medical Personnel During the COVID-19 Pandemic" was held in the video conference mode. The online workshop was organized by the Council of Chief Nurses of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Association of Nurses of the Republic of Tatarstan. The workshop was attended by students of medical institutions of Naberezhnye Chelny and the north-eastern region of the republic.
In her greeting speech to the participants of the workshop, Elvira Kustovskaya, chief nurse of the Children's City Polyclinic #3, chief visiting specialist for working with the nursing staff of the Health Department of Naberezhnye Chelny of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, stressed the relevance of the topic of the seminar. She noted that during the pandemic, the risk of professional burnout and the development of depressive and anxiety disorders significantly increases among medical personnel.
In their reports, speakers from among nurses, psychologists, paramedics of medical and preventive institutions in Naberezhnye Chelny revealed such topics as the psychoemotional state, psychological problems, and measures to prevent emotional burnout of medical workers during the pandemic.
