The Kindness to the Village campaign was held in the Laishevsky municipal district

Within the framework of Russia-wide Kindness to the Village project, the Republican Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention, together with the Medical Volunteers regional Tatarstan branch, organized and conducted an information and educational campaign for residents of Orel village in the Laishevsky district.

The campaign aimed to improve the population's literacy in preserving their health and the health of their loved ones and raising awareness about check-ups and examinations. Medical volunteers held lectures and presentations on topics of cardiovascular and musculoskeletal systems disease prevention.

The residents were consulted by specialist doctors, such as a cardiologist-therapist, and an orthopedic surgeon within the campaign framework. Also an in-depth counseling on healthy nutrition was offered. Medical volunteers conducted anthropometry and blood pressure measurement for everyone. Information materials of a preventive orientation, published by the State Educational Institution the Republican Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention, were distributed during the event.
