The growth territory

"I have never regretted that I came to work in this city."

Meet the oncologist, head of the visiting patronage service of palliative care of the СDP Alexander Andreev.

Alexander Eduardovich, a native of the Udmurt Republic, was born in the Mozhginsk district, in the small village of Pychas. In 2016, he graduated from the Izhevsk State Medical Academy and, in 2017, completed his internship in oncology. In the same year, together with his wife, who is a culturologist, he came to live and work in Nizhnekamsk.

“I liked the conditions.”

"In 2016, managers from other regions, including Nizhnekamsk, came to our job fair. I remember that the polyclinic #1 head, Rosalia M. Khairullina, told us about the NKRMH and Nizhnekamsk. At that time, my wife and I were thinking, looking for a place to live. My wife and I did not want to stay in Izhevsk, and we wanted to go to another city. Of course, we were interested in the housing issue. We liked that in Nizhnekamsk, they provided rental housing and social mortgages. That attracted us, and we came and received a grant of 500,000 rubles. By the way, now this amount has grown significantly, and our young specialists are already receiving 800,000 thousand rubles," says A. Andreev.

In September, it will be exactly four years since Dr. Alexander became a part of the friendly team of the NKRMH. During this short period, the purposeful and hardworking young doctor has achieved great success. Dr. Andreev is not only a popular and recognizable oncologist in the city but, in 2018, he was appointed to the position of head of the visiting patronage service of palliative care. Before lunch, the doctor sees patients; after lunch, he leaves with the palliative team for calls. The number of departures can reach up to 15 addresses.

"I love my job."

"There are more responsibilities. When I was just a palliative care doctor, I went on calls, gave recommendations, and performed various manipulations. Now I need to control everything to perform work in the city and the district. Every day there are tasks from the management. I need to make goals and a work plan for the year, report on the work done. Of course, with the new position, there is more work, and more experienced mentors often come to the rescue."

"There is no limit to perfection."

"Sometimes there is a feeling that there is a lot of red tape, I drown in papers, but I don't seem to do anything worthwhile. Then I analyze and understand that the work is being done, and it is being done well. Now many issues are not solved without me. On the one hand, this is good. On the other hand, a great responsibility is on my shoulders. I have a desire to learn something new, some new manipulations, learn new competencies. I want to grow and, if possible, I will do it.

During my time at the NKRMH, I have never regretted that I came to work in this city. I like it here, and now the salary is not bad. I feel a certain stability.

I would definitely advise young people who are choosing a place where they can live and work in peace to come to Nizhnekamsk, where there are all the conditions for career growth. The road is open to the young. The main thing is the desire, not to be afraid to work, to develop, to strive, to become more qualified and more successful."
