Last Sunday, April 4, the acting chief physician of Chistopol CRH Mikhail Baranov, heads of structural divisions, heads of departments, and medical workers of the Chistopol CRH State Medical Institution took an active part in the 10,000 Steps to Life action and walked along the central streets of the city.
This event was timed to coincide with World Health Day.
The route was laid from the Fighters for the Revolution monument, located on K. Marx Street, to the Skaryatinsky Garden.
Also, on this day, the All-Russian campaign was supported by the staff of the administration of Chistopol.
The 10,000 Steps to Life campaign is based on the WHO recommendations to take 6 to 10 thousand steps a day to maintain a minimum of normal physical activity. According to the classification of healthy people's physical activity, less than 5,000 steps taken by a person per day characterize the lifestyle as "sedentary." From 5,000 to 7,499 steps per day, the indicator does not include sports and physical activity and is considered "ineffective." 7500-9999 steps per day include some physical activity or walking (and/or work that requires more walking) and is considered "partly active." 10,000 or more steps per day characterize a person's lifestyle as "active."
