Long-awaited medical and obstetric center has opened in Sukharevo village, which serves the population of two villages of almost 600 people. Previously, the medical and obstetric center was located on the second floor of the local Cultural Center. A new, comfortable building with an area of 63 sq. m. was built nearby – 4.7 million rubles were allocated for this as part of the program to improve primary health care for the population of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The head of the Health Department, Sergey Meryasev, noted that since 2013, 13 medical and obstetric centers have already been built in the Nizhnekamsk district. This year, the construction of medical and obstetric centers is planned in two more localities – in Verkhnyye Chelny and the Kamsky village. Also this year, the Shingalchinsk outpatient clinic will be completely renovated. "It is important that our rural residents are also vaccinated against the coronavirus and do not bring the infection home. There are all conditions for vaccination in the medical and obstetric center. Here you can also pass a medical examination." Sergey Meryasev summed up.
