Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva and Tatarstan Minister of Health Marat Sadykov visited the renovated medical building #3 of the Children's Republican Clinical Hospital. Major repairs of the building at Safiullina str., 14 addresses began on May 19, 2020. 178 million rubles were spent on modernization. Starting tomorrow, the renovated building will begin receiving patients, and the hospital will work around the clock.
"To see the institution in a new version, modern, warm, cozy, is always a pleasure. This facility was renovated as part of the republican program for the repair of hospitals. It is important that the result of the work will be available to every patient who will be admitted here, «said Leyla Fazleeva.
The Deputy Prime Minister also noted that the medical building has a department of palliative care, and such work in the republic is under special control. The facility has 13 palliative care beds. In addition, the department of the Kazan State Medical University will be located in the hospital.
"This facility is one of the projects implemented under the presidential program, which was adopted for five years. I think we will gradually modernize all our children's clinics throughout the republic," the head of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan said.
The two-storey building is designed for 110 beds of a night hospital and 46 beds of a day hospital.
"We have a clinical laboratory, the X-ray department, which did not function before, will work. We had both an ultrasound department and a functional diagnostics department. To date, we have new equipment. Ultrasound is a powerful enough device that can look at internal organs, blood vessels and the heart, " said Svetlana Senek, Deputy chief physician of the CRCB for medical work and curator of the 3rd building.
Pediatricians with problems of the gastrointestinal tract, kidneys and lungs, as well as allergies will be accepted for treatment. Senek noted that there are quite a few hospitals with a nephrological profile. In total, 78 doctors will work in the medical building: 11 doctors, and the rest-middle and junior medical staff. The hospital will also employ specialized specialists: allergists, immunologists, gastroenterologists and nephrologists.
