Doctors of the Department of X-Ray Surgical Methods of Diagnostics and Treatment of Nizhnekamsk Central District Multifunctional Hospital together with X-ray surgeons from Kazan and Krasnoyarsk successfully performed surgical operation on a patient with an abdominal aortic aneurysm.

Today is the World Prematurity Day. All the causes of premature birth have not yet been fully studied by medical science. Currently, according to the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the survival rate of premature babies in Russia is 98%. Even 20 years ago, almost 80% of babies born weighing less than a kilogram died. It was possible to reduce numbers thanks to medical technologies and modern equipment.
