Procedure for issuing pharmaceutical licenses to medical institutions located in rural areas has been simplified in Russia

Since January 1, 2022, changes concerning licensing of pharmaceutical activities of separate units of medical organizations have come into force in the Russian Federation. Medical workers of medical and obstetric centers, outpatient clinics, general medical practice centers located in rural settlements where there are no pharmacies will be able to sell medicines and release preferential medicines to the population.
