A memo to citizens that make the choice of medicines or monetary compensation

Provision of social assistance, including medicine at discounted prescription, guaranteed by our state. It is extremely important to make a correct choice of the form of such assistance.

At the moment when the person's health gives him no particular concerns, chronic diseases are not aggravated and are not progressing, it is easy to be tempted to replace in-kind benefits by cash allowances. As soon as the health worsens, the disease takes a protracted character, requiring long-term treatment and a lot of medicine, it becomes obvious that the monetary compensation is not enough. Such a burden for the family budget can be daunting.

If you have made choice in favor of monetary compensation and you, as often happens, convinced that it was wrong, you need to know: To restore the right to receiving a set of social services is possible only after submission of the corresponding application to the Pension Fund. The Ministry of health of the Republic of Tatarstan recommends you not later than October the 1st of the current year, submit to the Pension Fund the application of a resumption of the set of social services for receiving free medical assistance in 2014. After this date it will be impossible to resume the right to receiving a set of social services during the whole year (by the law of the Russian Federation it is not provided).

For those citizens who received free medicines in 2013, there is not the necessity of filing the application to the Pension Fund.
