Foreign bodies of the gastrointestinal tract in children are quite common. Most of all swallowed objects freely pass through the entire path of the gastrointestinal tract and often doctors are limited to monitoring their moving.
The CRCH was represented at the congress by Oksana Gennadievna Pyaterkina, chief visiting pediatric pulmonologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, head of the consultative polyclinic No. 1, and Olga Alexandrovna Karpova, Head of the Pulmonology Department of the CRCH.
