Vladimir Putin: project of modernization of primary healthcare will be continued
According to Vladimir Putin, polyclinics, district hospitals, medical and obstetric centers and outpatient clinics have been built in small towns and rural areas during the last years. The project of modernization of primary healthcare will be continued.
The program of modernization of primary healthcare of the National Project “Healthcare” is being implemented in Tatarstan since 2021.
The President noticed that from the beginning of 2024, tariffs for medical care in cities and in rural areas would be leveled. In other words, the level of financial support for feldsher-midwife stations, outpatient clinics, and other primary care organizations in small towns will significantly increase.
He appealed to the regional heads with the indication that the allocated funds should primarily be used for salaries of health workers in non-urban areas.
