The urgent information at 20 o’clock in the afternoon on the 2-d of October 2013

At 8 o’clock in the afternoon of 02.10.2013 in SAHI «Prof. Agafonov Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital» were 25 children from SAISS « Derbyshensky children's boarding school for mentally retarded children», including 5 children under the intensive care.

The diagnosis of acute dysentery is confirmed at 5 patients.

The status of children is estimated as serious according to the complex of congenital developmental anomalies of central nervous system. The status of children on acute enteric infection is considered as moderately severe.

Consultations with involvement of leading experts of Children's Republican Hospital, Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital, workers of HM of TR were organized.

Tomorrow, 03.10.2013, will take place the control examination of children by special medical crew with the principal epidemiologist of Kazan Healthcare Institution N.A.Ivoylova.

In Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital of HM of ТR 1 child from the Derbyshensky children's boarding school for the mentally retarded children was died. According to preliminary data of patologo-anatomic research, the death of the child is not a consequence of acute enteric infection,  it is due to aggravation of congenital disease.
