Doctors of Medical unit of Open Joint-Stock Company "Tatneft" of Almetyevsk have fulfilled unique operation- thrombectomy

On October, 28th, 2013 in Open Joint-Stock Company "Tatneft" of Almetyevsk Medical unit unique operation-thrombectomy of the lower vena cava has been fulfilled.

Operation was led to the patient, born in 1971, the inhabitant of Bavlinskiy district of our republic who has arrived in the Medical unit  from Bavlinskiy Central Regional Hospital with the diagnosis of acute deep vein thrombosis. The patient was inspected and thrombus in lumen of the lower vena cava was found. Considering the fact that the thrombus apex was above renal veins, the patient was under the threat of clottage with development of acute renal insufficiency. After the consultation with specialists of Kazan Republican Clinical hospital, in Medical unit arrived Glinkin Vladimir Vadimovich – managing the unit of ray-surgery methods of diagnostic and treatment of RCH. Together with ray surgeons and cardiovascular surgeons of Medical unit Glinkin made thrombectomy from the lower vena cava with kava-filter replantation into infrarenal position. The patient has been saved.
