Briefing on preventive maintenance of tobacco smoking and decrease of consumption of tobacco among the population of ТR will take place on December, 3rd

On the threshold of International day of  smoking refusal , press conference «Preventive maintenance of tobacco smoking and decrease of consumption of tobacco among the population of Tatarstan Republic» will take place on December, 3rdat 10 o’clock to the address: 11/6,Ostrovskiy street, Kazan ( Health Ministry of Tatarstan Republic).

Within the limits of the program of Russian public organization «League of health of the nation» the action «Tobacco smoking preventive maintenance» begins its work. The program is implemented at the support of Health Ministry of Tatarstan Republic. The action in Kazan is timed for International day of smoking refusal, which will be on November, 21st. 

Within the limits of the program round tables with leading experts of region, conferences and workshops for practicing doctors concerning the questions of decrease of tobacco dependence will take place. 

Besides, the topicality to the program gives the fact that since December, 3 th 2013 new penalties for violation of antitobacco legislation come into force.

Head physician of SAHI « Republican dispensary on addictions» F.Z.Fattakhov, head physician of SAHI « Republican Centre of medical preventive maintenance» R.S.Sadykova, chief specialist in addictology of Health Ministry of Russian Federation, director of Moscow scientifically-practical center of addictology of Healthcare department, member of Public chamber of Russian Federation, the coordinator of the program of League of health of the nation E.A.Brjun will take part in press conference.

During press conference specialists will tell about the latest achievements, allowing to give up smoking. We will notice that the majority of modern techniques supposes changeover of directly smoking by acceptance medicines containing nicotine. What does it give? First of all, it allows to avoid poisoning with burning products, the various harmful substances contained in cigarettes. Besides the refusal from nicotine causes the symptoms like nausea, headache, aggression, acrimony, sleeplessness, depression.
