Various abnormalities of implantation of placenta to uterus wall are widespread pathology at women during pregnancy. These kinds of pathology can lead to large obstetric bleeding which is the main reason of maternal death rate. That’s why such expectant mothers refer to the group of high risk, and they are sent to delivery in Perinatal centre.

One of these days in Perinatal centre of Naberezhnye Chelny has been made the unique operation. The doctor obstetrist-gynecologist Kashapov Rustem Islamovich has made the conservative operation. The uterus has been cut from front abdominal wall. After operation of Cesarean section and extraction of the child the changed cicatrix on uterus has been exsected, and the uterus has been generated anew (so-called metroplasty). The sixth days after operation the patient has been written out home in satisfactory status with conservation of reproductive function.

Specialists of Perinatal centre are planning to make such operations in order to preserve the reproductive health of women.
