Oncologists of Tatarstan for the first time removed a kidney with the help of a robot

For the first time in Tatarstan, a laparoscopic robot-assisted nephrectomy was performed at the Republican Clinical Oncology Dispensary. This is the removal of a kidney affected by a malignant tumor using a robotic surgical system.

The operation was successful: without large incisions, with minimal injury and high precision — each step was performed under the full control of the surgeon operating the robotic system.

On the fourth day after the operation, the patient was dismissed in a satisfactory condition — recovery was quick and without complications.
