On the prevention of sexually transmitted infections

STIs are a group of sexually transmitted diseases. Many of them are asymptomatic in the early stages, which makes timely diagnosis and treatment difficult, and also contributes to the further spread of infection. Ignoring STIs can lead to serious complications, including infertility, chronic inflammatory diseases, and an increased risk of HIV infection.
