Three years later, the woman informed her doctors that she was pregnant again. After several consultations and examinations, the doctors decided to continue the pregnancy.
Thanks to the teamwork of the doctors, we were able to carry the baby to full term. Throughout her pregnancy, she was monitored by transplant specialists, obstetricians and gynecologists, cardiologists and hepatologists. And unlike the first pregnancy, the woman was not in the hospital. This is unique for Tatarstan, as it is the first time that a woman has given birth to two healthy full–term children after a liver transplant.
