Almetyevsk schoolchildren reminded about HIV prevention
In Almetyevsk, active work continues on HIV prevention in educational institutions. The specialists conducted a number of important events aimed at raising awareness among both high school students and teaching staff.
The day before, educational lectures for high school students were held at two educational institutions at once. At Lyceum No. 2, the head of the prevention department of the AIDS Center branch, Alsu Gazymova, worked with students, and at Gymnasium No. 1. Riza Fahretdin's meeting was conducted by Nadezhda Ermolayeva, a specialist in social work.
During the events, students received comprehensive information about HIV transmission routes, prevention methods, and the importance of taking a responsible attitude to their health.
In addition, a significant preventive event was held for the teaching staff of school No. 21 in Almetyevsk.
Alsu Gazymova addressed the teachers, presenting valuable recommendations on working with adolescents in the framework of HIV prevention and, of course, personal HIV prevention.
At the end of the meeting, every teacher had the opportunity to undergo anonymous rapid HIV testing, which is an important step in controlling their own health and an example of a responsible approach.
