Behind the scenes of medicine: schoolchildren visiting an infectious diseases hospital
The Naberezhnye Chelny Infectious Diseases Hospital opened its doors to schoolchildren for the first time. High school students of the medical classes of educational institution No. 19 got a unique opportunity not only to learn about the work of the only infectious diseases hospital in Zakamye, but to literally touch the profession of a doctor.
The meeting began with an important conversation. The chief physician, Rishat Nugmanov, told the children about the values of medicine, working conditions and the possibilities of targeted training, which opens a direct path to the profession.
Special attention was paid to the mentoring program, the main secret of successful adaptation of young specialists. But theory quickly gave way to exciting practice.
The students divided into groups and set off along a specially prepared route full of discoveries: at the prevention station, Yulia Makhmutova, a specialist in hygiene education, spoke about how to maintain their health and conducted a master class on physical therapy for the children.
