Conference of Russian society of onco-urologists in Privolzhsky federal district

Scientific conference of Russian society of onco-urologists (RSOU) in Privolzhsky federal district for the first time has taken place in Kazan on November, 29th.

Head physician of Republican clinical oncologic dispensary, professor R.Sh.Khasanov and president of RSOU, professor, d.m., chief of urology unit of FSBI « N.N.Blokhin ROC» of Russian Academy of Medical Science V.B.Matveev have opened the conference. In his speech, Khasanov has noticed that today onco-urology is one of dynamically developing and perspective sections of oncology, that’s why the active exchange of the modern achievements and the multidisciplinary approach will allow to evaluate variety of questions, especially the quality evaluation of surgical interventions and correctness of choice of treatment’s methods.

170 delegates from 20 regions of Russian Federation took part in the conference. Participants of conference had examined the modern possibilities of treatment, implementation of endovideosurgical and robotized technologies in onco-urology.

In end of conference the head physician of SAHI RCOD of HM of ТR R.Sh.Khasanov has shown to the participants of conference the possibilities of Republican clinical oncologic dispensary. The special attention has been given to Nuclear Medicine Centre. Participants had familiarized with the production technology of radiomedicines. During the visit the guests had noticed the successful organization of oncologic service in TR thanks to which the Republic population has possibility to receive in time the modern help of international standards.
