About HIV infection prevention

The event was organized by the AIDS Center of the Republic of Tatarstan in order to raise awareness among the agency's staff about the ways of transmission of the virus and measures to prevent it. The lecture was conducted by epidemiologist Kamilla Yuzeeva.

The participants of the event received detailed information about current knowledge in the field of HIV infection, including ways of transmission of the virus, as well as ways of prevention. Special attention was paid to debunking myths and stigmas related to HIV.

The lecture also provided an opportunity to undergo rapid HIV testing. More than 35 employees of the Ministry took this opportunity to find out their status and get advice.
