Lecture on HIV prevention was held for the staff of the Almetyevsk DMH
A training lecture for medical staff on the diagnosis and prevention of HIV infection was held at the Almetyevsk District Multidisciplinary Hospital. The event was attended by specialists from the Branch of the Republican Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS in Almetyevsk, Head of the Prevention Department Alsu Gazymova and Head of the Epidemiological Department Alina Latifullina.
Experts spoke about the current epidemiological situation in Almetyevsk, ways of HIV transmission, diagnosis and preventive measures. Special attention was paid to the prevention of occupational infection, anti-epidemic measures in emergency situations in the provision of medical care, as well as vigilance for the timely diagnosis of HIV infection in patients.
