On December 24, 2025, for the first time in the history of our hospital, a laparoscopic appendectomy was performed. This is a modern method of removing the inflamed appendix through small punctures in the anterior abdominal wall using special endoscopic surgical equipment.
Among the advantages of the endoscopic technique are: low injury, reduction of pain in the postoperative period, reduction of wound complications, reduction of hospitalization and labor rehabilitation, high cosmetic effect.
