Elena Nazipova is 51 years old. Cirrhosis of the liver prevented her from living a full life. She often felt tired, but even with this diagnosis, she continued to work. Until one day she lost consciousness while in the store. "I didn't even hope that I would be invited for surgery so quickly. We waited, believed, and here is a miracle for the New Year! We are from the Nizhnekamsk region, and it is very good that now such operations are being carried out in Naberezhnye Chelny. It's convenient: we got there quickly, and I have relatives living here," says Elena.

Remembering the doctors who gave Elena hope for a new life, she can hardly hold back tears: "Such staff, such wonderful people who give hope for the future. I'm very glad, it's lucky that everything turned out so well, and I got into the hands of real professionals! I thank all the hospital staff. I feel at home here, everyone takes care of me, they are very attentive."

Mikhail Surkov, 46 years old: "I've been waiting in line for a transplant since the summer, I used to doubt it, even after I heard the terrible diagnosis – cirrhosis of the liver. It's still a complicated operation. But one day I felt really sick. In three days, I turned yellow like an orange, lost consciousness, and was taken away by ambulance. Then, after some time, they called me and invited me to Naberezhnye Chelny for a transfer. What can I say. It is necessary not to be afraid, but to believe in a positive outcome. The operation lasted 2.5 hours, and everything went well. I was operated on by wonderful surgeons. Now my condition has changed, I feel much better. I am very happy and grateful to all the doctors and nurses for their hard work."

The doctors themselves note that liver transplant surgery is very difficult. In the past, liver transplants were performed in Kazan or Moscow for residents of Tatarstan. Now high-tech medical care will become even more accessible to the residents of the republic.
