The speaker of the event was Diana Fidelevna Raimova, a psychiatrist and narcologist at the Republican Clinical Narcological Dispensary of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan.

During the meeting, the specialist elaborated on the risks of tobacco and alcohol use, emphasizing that these habits are powerful triggers of cardiovascular complications. The intake of nicotine and alcohol into the body provokes a sharp vasospasm, damages their inner wall and makes blood pressure control almost impossible, which significantly increases the risk of heart attacks and strokes.

Diana Fidelevna shared with the participants proven methods of quitting addictions, gave practical recommendations on overcoming cravings and forming healthy habits.
