Paramedic Tatiana Illarionova held a meeting with men as part of the Week of Awareness about Cardiovascular Diseases. The conversation was devoted to the prevention of heart attack, hypertension and coronary heart disease.

The paramedic dispelled common myths: "it will pass by itself," "140/90 — working pressure," "salt does not affect." The doctor emphasized that the blood pressure rate is 120/80, and elevated blood pressure levels require medical supervision. Excess salt, excess weight, alcohol, and low physical activity directly increase the risk of heart attack.

In the village of Akhmetevo, the head of the MOC, Zulfira Shamsetdinova, also recalled the importance of regular monitoring of blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar levels. After the lectures, the residents were able to undergo an express examination and receive recommendations.

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan reminds: prevention of cardiovascular diseases, healthy diet and daily walking help to preserve the heart for many years to come.
