3 March 2026, Tuesday

Key experts from the region joined the dialogue: Dmitry Vladimirovich Lopushov, chief visiting specialist in immunoprophylaxis and Epidemiology at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Fleera Adgamovna Amrakhova, Deputy Head of the Epidemiological Surveillance Department of the Rospotrebnadzor of the Republic of Tatarstan.

During the webinar, we discussed why it is important to distinguish influenza from other acute respiratory viral infections, what symptoms you should pay attention to and when you need to see a doctor. We also discussed preventive measures that really reduce the risk of infection: ventilation, hand hygiene, reasonable isolation of the patient, the use of masks when in contact with the patient, and timely medical treatment.

Experts have analyzed the drug therapy in detail: what concerns drugs with proven effectiveness, as well as the importance of avoiding self-medication and spending money on "trendy" drugs without proven effects during a surge in morbidity.

A significant section was devoted to vaccination as the most reliable protection against the severe course and complications of influenza. We also reviewed the patient's rights during the epidemic season.: how medical care is organized, how to apply for a sick leave, what to do if the condition worsens, and what responsibilities the medical organization has.

After the webinar, Airat Ilgizarovich held a reception for citizens: participants received answers to questions and necessary clarifications.
