Final Medical Meeting of the Kazan Health Department
The day before, the Final Medical Meeting of the Kazan Health Department was held at the Saidash Cultural Center.
The agency reported on its work in 2025 to the Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Almir Abashev and the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin. "For us, the healthcare system is one of the most important areas of urban life. Healthcare issues are among the top five issues of concern to Kazan residents. That's understandable. No matter how much we invest in healthcare, the issue of health will always be one of the highest priorities for residents. But I remember where we started – the condition of the city's hospitals. Years later, we remember it as a terrible dream," Ilsur Metshin said.
The mayor recalled that today there are 100 medical institutions operating in the capital of Tatarstan. Last year, polyclinics began operating in the residential complexes "Salavat Kupere", "Vesna", "Volzhskie Prostory", as well as a general practitioner and pediatrician center in the village of Vishnevka. In addition, 11 healthcare facilities were overhauled.
