In the focus of vision: how advanced retinal treatment technologies are being introduced in Almetyevsk

For the first time in Tatarstan, a training seminar on navigation laser treatment of retinal pathology was held at Almetyevsk Regional Multidisciplinary Hospital with the participation of laser surgeon, retinologist, Candidate of medical Sciences Timur Bulatovich Shaimov. He was one of the first in Russia to use this German technology.

The master class was held at a high level and brought together 16 retinologists from the republics of Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Chuvashia, and Mari El. Each participant was involved in the work: a detailed analysis of patients, a discussion of management tactics, and participation in the surgical stage.
