The Congress is attended by senior oncology specialists, heads of scientific and practical cancer centers, federal educational organizations and specialized departments, and healthcare organizers.
Almir Abashev, Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, welcomed the participants of the congress.
"Preventive measures are the key to quickly identify and prevent the development of terminal stages of diseases. In 2026, more than 1 million 800 residents of the Republic of Tatarstan must undergo professional examinations, medical examinations, and medical examinations of the reproductive sphere. All this is provided free of charge by the polyclinic network of our healthcare today," the head of the department noted.
The event is timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the Oncological service of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The congress started working the day before and will be open tomorrow.
Doctors discuss the achievements of pediatric oncology, issues of oncourology, oncomammology, oncogynecology, and molecular genetic research in oncology.
