Labour congress of the Russian Healthcare Workers

The IX Congress of the Labour Union of Healthcare Workers of Russia was held in Moscow. The event took place in the Izmailovo large concert hall and gathered over a thousand participants from all regions of the country.

The Congress was also attended by a delegation from Tatarstan - 10 people, including Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Guzaliya Kamilevna Zakarieva.

The key objective of the event was to discuss the most pressing and urgent problems faced by doctors, nurses and junior staff today.

An award ceremony was also held. Minister Mikhail Murashko presented a Letter of Thanks to Galina Lilia Khakimzyanovna, a medical psychologist and chairman of the primary labour union organization of the Bavli CDH.
