For the first time, a high-tech operation using rotary coronary artery ablation was successfully performed at the center at the hospital of the Chistopol Central District Hospital. In the Department of X-ray surgical methods of diagnosis and treatment, an 84-year-old patient with severe coronary artery calcification underwent rotational vascular ablation followed by angioplasty and stenting. The operation was successful.
Rotational vascular ablation is a modern treatment method that helps to rid the patient of atherosclerotic lesions of the heart vessels, including the coronary arteries. This method allows you to remove hard and inelastic atherosclerotic plaques from the inner walls quickly, painlessly and without complications. This procedure was previously performed only in large federal cardiac centers.
