The week from June 22 to 28 has been declared by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation as the week of prevention of drug use (in honor of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on June 26).
A psychiatrist and narcologist, Raisa Galimova, shared with the parents of teenagers the first signs of drug addiction.
"First of all, there is a change of mood: it suddenly changes, without the absence of external causes, and sudden attacks of aggression occur. The changes will be visible in the appearance of the teenager: pale skin, blue circles under the eyes, unnaturally dilated or narrowed pupils and skin scratches. Observe your child, how has his behavior changed? The characteristic signs of use include prolonged sleep, bouts of severe hunger, and avoiding contact with you. His social circle and sphere of interests will begin to change.
