Drug addiction prevention: a lecture was held at the Mamadysh center "Care"
Mikhail Rustemovich gave a lecture for vacationers at the center on the topic "How to help a loved one suffering from addiction." The doctor analyzed in detail the signs of addiction, changes in the behavior and appearance of people who use drugs, and also gave clear recommendations to parents and relatives on how to act when alarm signals are detected.
He paid special attention to the rules of building family relationships if someone close to him was faced with addiction.:
· avoid judgment in emotional reactions;
· provide moral and emotional support;
· facilitate treatment and further rehabilitation;
· do not provoke (do not attend events with alcohol, limit communication with addicted friends);
· do not give money – buy necessary things with it.
