Expanded meeting of Health Ministry board of TR has taken place

The activity of maternity care in Tatarstan has been discussed today during expanded meeting of Health Ministry board of Tatarstan Republic. The assistant of Tatarstan President on social problems Tatyana Larionova, principals of federal structures, deputies of State Council of Tatarstan, the chief of healthcare department on sports and healthy life style questions of Cabinet council of Tatarstan Republic Guzel Shakirova, rectors of educational institutions and scientists, principals of medical institutions, including profile clinics took part in the meeting. Meeting has taken place as video conference. Doctors obstetricians-gynecologists, neonatologists, anesthesiologists- resuscitators took part in the meeting in municipal unions.
Opening the meeting, Health Minister Adel Vafin has paid attention on presidential decrees «About state policy improvement in health care sphere» and «About measures on implementation of demographic policy of Russian Federation».

Adel Vafin has reported that Tatarstan occupies 2 place in PFD (after Penza region) and 23 place in Russian Federation in rating on achievement of the indexes determined by presidential decrees.

First deputy of Health Minister of ТR Sergey Osipov has told about the conditions of maternity care in Republic in his basic report. He has noticed that events in sphere of mother and child health protection, conducted in Tatarstan Republic, reflect efficiency of social policy of the state, and are implemented according to the annual RF President's letter to Federal Assembly of Russian Federation and TR President's letter to Tatarstan Republic State Council.

For the ten years' period the infantile death rate in Tatarstan has decreased almost twice. The infantile death rate is connected with augmentation of number of premature children with low mass of body (about 500 grams). 
In 2012 the index of maternal death rate has constituted 10,8 on 100 000 viviparities (in Russian Federation - 11,5).

The chairman of obstetricians-gynecologists society of Tatarstan, head of obstetrics and gynecology department of Kazan State Medical University, professor Ildar Fatkullin has touched the problems of maternal death rate in Republic and reserves of its decrease. He has told about three-level system of rendering of medical aid to pregnant women and parturient women and about quality aid rendering in institutions of various types.
Head physician of Mendeleevsk Central Region Hospital Gilev Muslim Aleksandrovich has told about interacting of obstetric-gynecologic service of district with intermunicipal obstetric-gynecologic centre.
The general director of clinic of OSC «Ava – PETER - Kazan» Firaya Sabirova has told about the development of state-private partnership in Republic and in Russia, giving as example her own clinic.
Summing up the meeting, the assistant of Tatarstan President on social problems Tatyana Larionova has asked medical workers to pay attention on quality of medical services rendering.
In conclusion of the meeting, Health Minister Adel Vafin has asked principals of medical institutions to pay special attention on quality of medical aid rendering, questions of ethics and corruption. He asked also to use the portal of state and municipal services of Tatarstan Republic through the server «People’s control». Posters with the site address should be allocated in all medical institutions.
