Complete health assessment: medical staff, together with volunteer students from Kazan Medical College, measured blood pressure, height and weight, and determined body mass index. More than 70 people received these important indicators and individual recommendations.
- Veronika Kudashova, a general practitioner at the Health Center, conducted conversations, helping passengers understand the risk factors for developing noncommunicable diseases, including hypertension, cardiovascular pathologies and diabetes mellitus.
- 15 passengers consulted with a dermatovenerologist, Nurislam Mussinovich Gayfullin. A dermatoscope was used to check the condition of the skin, including early detection of oncological changes.
- More than 10 people turned to a medical clinical psychologist, Marina Kuzminichna Ivanova, for help in dealing with addictions (nicotine and alcohol), reducing stress, improving sleep and overcoming phobias.
- 16 passengers underwent rapid HIV testing conducted by specialists of the Republican Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS and HIV, epidemiologist Kamilla Nailevna Yuzeeva and paramedic Ekaterina Sergeevna Gavrilcheva.
Each consultation ended with the provision of complete information on further steps: addresses of medical organizations, reminders of the importance of medical examinations and preventive examinations at the place of residence, as well as an explanation of risk factors. Passengers received useful memos and flyers promoting a healthy lifestyle.
