The world is talking about the first children's hospice in Tatarstan Republic. The article about the organization’s activity and development of the palliative help to children in Tatarstan has appeared in German journal "Wir" (the link to issuing: http://www.kinderkrebsstiftung.de/).
Let's remind that the first children's hospice of Tatarstan Republic in Kazan has been opened on June, 2nd and became the second stationary hospice for children in Russia. At which time Kazan children's hospice is registered as first in Russia noncommercial private medical institution. It became one of the basic events of the outgoing year.
Opening the hospice beds for the population at the age of 19-25 years old with serious progressing diseases is planned at the second stage. Patients with oncologic diseases, degenerate diseases of nervous system, locomotorium, people, injured in road accident need this type of the help first of all.
60 million roubles are necessary for building construction of 2nd stage. The floor space of the second stage will constitute roughly 1661,1 sq.m., and will be oriented for 18 beds.
