During this year KSMU organizes the anniversary events. The most significant scientific events in Kazan will be 17th All-Russia Student's Medical-historical Conference on March, 22nd and 88th All-Russia Scientific-practical Conference of students and young scientists from March, 26 till March, 27th, 2014.
Popularization of scientific and historical medical knowledge becomes the primary goal of the Forum, aspiration to be worthy the historical past of sciences, to work at mastering of scientific bases of medical knowledge, to share in the experimental part of researches in university. High professionalism of our employees, development of effective pedagogical, medical and social technologies, the modern scientific researches - all is pledge of successful work of Kazan Medical University for the public good. Principal achievement of our university, as well as all domestic medicine is our youth: students, post-graduate students, interns. Problem lectures will be read by leading russian and foreign scientists.
The first medical channel has been organized in order to improve the information’s accessibility of practicing physicians. The primary goal of this resource is the presentation of the modern approaches to diagnostic and treatment of various diseases. They were met by representatives of Health Ministry of TR and relatives in Kazan railway station. The train “Adler – Novosibirsk” has arrived to capital of Tatarstan before the schedule.
Despite of two days trip by train and tiredness, medical workers were in good mood. «We liked very much our business trip. We worked in the most interesting complex of spring-boards «Russian hills». Fortunately, sportsmen hadn’t complicated traumas. Basically sportsmen addressed with muscle strains and hurts. We had all necessary equipment. Besides, the experience acquired during Universiade has also helped in the work» - said Rishat Badretdinov, the surgeon of Municipal Hospital №2 of Naberezhnye Chelny, to journalists.
Day of spontaneous kindness is one of recent initiatives of the international charity institutions. This holiday is celebrated in the world. This day everybody must try to be kind and noble and make kind deeds. Kamsky Children's Medical Centre has decided to make holiday for children (patients of Children's out-patient polyclinic) from needy families. Each child has received a toy, a kit of stationery and juice as gift.
III International Internet Congress on internal diseases has taken place from 11th to 13th of February on the basis of Republican Clinical Hospital (RCH).
Doctors of therapeutic units, employees of hospital therapy department, young doctors, interns and residents took part in the work of on-line International Congress.
During 3 days the training studies were broadcast in methodical block of RCH.
The first International day has been led on January, 15th in Luxembourg, but later it was decided to transfer the date for a month later. Today, the day of children with cancer, is conducted in more than 40 countries under patronage of International society of children's oncologists.
The topicality of problem increases. According to world medical statistics about 200 thousand children become ill with cancer, half from them dies every year.
Timely diagnostic is considered the guarantee of successful treatment of oncologic diseases. If the disease is diagnosed at the first or second stages, treatment frequently leads to favorable end. However the tenth of cancer cases is revealed only at the third stage, and in eight percent of children the disease is diagnosed only at the fourth stage. Children are often affected with leukemia or blood cancer.
The questions of decrease of case rate and death rate from vascular diseases are very important. On February, 12th the neurology unit for patients with acute disturbances of cerebral circulation (the primary vascular centre) has began to function according to the order of HM of ТR №158 from 06.02.2014 «About modification of the order of Health Ministry of TR from 27.09.2013 №1833« About the order of medical aid rendering to the patient (adult population) with acute disturbances of cerebral circulation»(ADCC) within the limits of the measures directed on improvement of medical aid rendering to the patients with vascular pathologies, in Almetievsk Central Regional Hospital.
In SAHI «Students’» Municipal Hospital №4» the guests were told about the technical equipment of medical institution, demonstrated the system of electronic turn, showed the newest medical equipment of the emergency unit. The visitors have highly appreciated the work of day hospital, department of rehabilitation treatment, as well as dental and medical-preventive departments. During the meeting the sides have discussed the work of medical institutions during the XXVII World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan.
The delegation got acquainted with the work of Emergency Medicine Center of SAHI Kazan «Municipal Clinical hospital №7». The delegates have visited important units of the Center: the receiving-diagnostic unit, operation unit, anesthesiology and reanimatology unit, and were shown the possibilities of the diagnostic service.
The unit has 24 beds of round-the-clock hospital.
Main branches of vascular surgery unit’s work are: treatment of patients with diseases of vessels by optimization of diagnostic and differentiated medical tactics with usage of hi-tech techniques, the emergency operative measures in acute thrombophlebites, surgical treatment of various forms of varicose illness, hi-tech techniques of operative measures in the complicated aneurysms of abdominal aorta.
