IV Russian annual congress with the international involvement «Medicine for sports–2014» will take place on May, 22-23nd, 2014 on the basis of Volga Region State Academy of Physical Training, Sports and Tourism. Congress became the largest platform in Russian Federation for discussing of pressing questions of sports medicine. More than 5000 specialists representing the Baltic States, CIS, Europe, USA and 70 regions of Russia have taken part during the past congress. The organizer of the Congress is Russian public organization «Russian association on sports medicine and aftertreatment of patients and invalids». The last years the congress was supported by Health Ministry of Russian Federation, Ministry of sports of Russian Federation, the Olympic committee of Russia, Paralympic committee of Russia. The congress «Medicine for sports – 2014» is included in the plan of scientific-practical events of Health Ministry of Russia (the order of Health Ministry of Russia from March, 31st 2014г. № 146), the plan of scientific-practical events of Sports Ministry of Russia (the order of Sports Ministry of Russia from March, 03rd, 2014 № 110).
Representatives of European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, leading doctors-experts from Austria, France, Germany, more than 500 doctors from 65 cities of Russia and abroad will take part in the work of Kazan forum. Within the limits of forum learning schools and work-shops for doctors will be presented by leading home and foreign scientists: Prof. Pascal Demoli (France), M.Calderon (Great Britain), academician of Russian Academy of Sciences, the director of Scientific Research Institute of Immunology of FMBА, Prof. Rakhim Khaitov, the academician of Russian Academy of Medical Science, Prof., the manager of allergology and clinical immunology sub-faculty of « Russian Immunology Institute » Igor Guschin and others.
The opening of Republican Blood Centre with participation of Health Minister of Russian Federation V.I.Skvortsova, director of FMBA V.V.Uiba and Prime minister of Tatarstan Republic I.S.Khalikov will take place in Kazan on May, 14th.
The government of Russian Federation has fixed blood service’s development as one of the priority directions in social sphere and health care. Enhancement of production and clinical transfusiology in Russian medical institutions can be based only on united system of donorship and hemocomponents’ production. That’s why, the new building of Republican Blood Centre, answering the modern demands, had been built in Kazan.
The realization of this project became possible thanks to assistance of Health Ministry of Russian Federation and support of Tatarstan Republic President Rustam Minnikhanov, TR Government, Federal Medical-biological Agency, TR Health Ministry.
The new building represents three-storied building with the total floor space of 6,2 thousand square meters according to the European standards. Republican Blood Center is equipped by the modern equipment.
Two citizens of Kazan became victims of motorcycle accident during holidays in Turkey, Side (Antalya). The brake system has broken down and they have fallen from altitude of 10 meters. Tourists have been hospitalized in ANADOLU HASTANESI Side.
The health status of man, born in 1967, is stable serious, near to moderate severity level. He has got the open craniocerebral trauma, bilateral pheumothorax, lung rupture. The operation has been performed. Now the positive dynamics are watched, the patient is in consciousness, the breath is independent. All necessary complex of medical-diagnostic measures is conducted. The transportation of the patient to Kazan will be possible not earlier than in 5 days.
The another victim was the boy, born in 2003, who has got multiple scratches. The patient was transported in RCCH and examined there. Later he has been transferred in out-patient treatment in satisfactory health status.
Today the professional holiday is celebrated by obstetricians. More than twenty years the 5 of May is considered the International day of obstetrician. The idea of this holiday was offered by International association of obstetricians in the conference in Netherlands in 1987.
The official holiday status has been given in 1992. Today more than 50 countries, including in Russia, celebrate this day.
