A festive event was organized in honor of the average medical workers in KCMC. Nurses are the largest category of health workers. More than 500 representatives of this profession work in Kama Children's Medical Center. A large proportion of medical care is provided exclusively by nursing staff in medical practice; effectiveness of treatment depends from them.

Plane from Goa with 168 people onboard landed at the airport "Begishevo". One of the passengers suspected cholera. Tactical and special interdepartmental exercises were held today according to this scenario. The aim was to localize and eliminate the site of infectious disease onboard the aircraft.

Memorial plaque dedicated to the first People's Health Commissar of Tatarstan Kashaf Mukhtarov has been opened today in Kazan. The memorial plaque was installed within celebration of the 100th anniversary of TASSR. 

Representatives of human rights commissioners in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation have visited Republican Clinical Hospital. The delegation included representatives from the Republic of Komi, Primorsky region, Khabarovsky region, Amursky region, Vologda, Murmansk, Novosibirsk and Smolensk regions, as well as the Chukotka Autonomous district.

The zonal stage of the sports competition of health personnel "Health -2019" was held in Tyulyachi.  The teams of Mamadyshsky, Tyulyachinsky, Tukayevsky, Agryzsky, Mendeleevsky districts were competed for the title of “the best sports team” in the following sports: badminton, athletics, volleyball, chess, tug of war and table tennis.
