May, 17 is celebrated as Pulmonologist Day. This is the specialist who deals with respiratory diseases.

Memorial plaque dedicated to the first People's Health Commissar of Tatarstan Kashaf Mukhtarov has been opened today in Kazan. The memorial plaque was installed within celebration of the 100th anniversary of TASSR. 

Representatives of human rights commissioners in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation have visited Republican Clinical Hospital. The delegation included representatives from the Republic of Komi, Primorsky region, Khabarovsky region, Amursky region, Vologda, Murmansk, Novosibirsk and Smolensk regions, as well as the Chukotka Autonomous district.

The zonal stage of the sports competition of health personnel "Health -2019" was held in Tyulyachi.  The teams of Mamadyshsky, Tyulyachinsky, Tukayevsky, Agryzsky, Mendeleevsky districts were competed for the title of “the best sports team” in the following sports: badminton, athletics, volleyball, chess, tug of war and table tennis.

Employees of Chistopolsky CRH joined the all-Russian campaign "Stop HIV/AIDS", dedicated to the International Memory Day of people dead from AIDS. It is held to remind people whose lives have been taken by this serious disease, to support people affected by the epidemic, to remind society that HIV is the reality of our time, and about the important of adequate information on this issue.

Woman’s clinic of SAHI "Bazarno-Mataksky CRH" has been visited by delegation of Ombudsman in the Russian Federation. Head physician Svetlana Odushkina spoke about the work of physicians in rural healthcare, medical service density and activities in implementation of the “road map”. Lively interest was aroused by conversations with pregnant women. The guests wished successful work and further prosperity. 

Experts from the Republics of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan learn the new technologies on the basis of Children's Republican Clinical Hospital.

The training seminar was held on the basis of Almetyevsky CRH for primary care physicians, oncologists and paramedics of medical and obstetric stations of Almetyevsk municipal district. Such seminars are held in all cities of the Republic in order to improve the provision of palliative care as part of the grant of the President of the Russian Federation "Palliative without borders".

May, 17 is International Children's Hotline Day in Russia. It is designed to draw the attention of the public to the need to strengthen measures to protect children in difficult situations and help them.
