A patient with a transplanted heart was discharged today from ICDC

The donor heart was transplanted to 61-year-old Vladimir Ivanov in Interregional Clinical Diagnostic Center. The operation took place on March 19, and today he was discharged home.

Vladimir Ivanov became the second owner of a donor heart in Tatarstan in 2019 and the seventh in the history of this type of surgery in the country. Heart disease progressed and organ transplantation was his only chance to continue a full life.
