Two new IBD centers were opened in Kazan

Two centers of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) were opened on the basis of Municipal Clinical Hospital No. 7 of Kazan and the Republican Clinical Hospital.

The project is implemented within the framework of the agreement on cooperation between TR Health Ministry and OOO “Takeda pharmaceuticals”, signed on February 13, 2019 at the Russian investment forum in Sochi. Takeda equipped the IBD centers with the necessary equipment within the framework of the signed agreement to carry out a full cycle of diagnostics. It is also planned to organize and conduct joint educational programs for medical personnel and the patient community.
