Lecture for expectant mothers was held by the anesthesiologist-resuscitator of Nizhnekamsk Perinatal Center Nikolay Ilyin. He told about everything that worries pregnant women on the eve of childbirth: about preparation for surgery, anesthesia for cesarean section and after it. He demonstrated the difference between epidural and spinal anesthesia, and explained the recovery process in both cases. Numerous questions of expectant mothers showed how many myths existed around birth anesthesia. The young doctor tried to dispel them with real figures and facts.
