Kazan hosted a workshop on the introduction of high-tech method of surgical care

ICDC cardiac surgeons together with their Moscow colleagues implanted three re-synchronizing devices to the patients from Tatarstan for the first time. The operations took place within the framework of cardiovascular surgery training in ICDC. The first demonstration operation was performed by Moscow cardiac surgeon Maxim Gorev, the others – by Kazan cardiac surgeon, Ph D Ildar Abdulyanov. The implantation of three-chamber pacemakers through telemedicine, with the effect of full presence, was closely watched by dozens of surgeons in the conference room of the center. The moderator of the training was Professor Roin K. Jorgikia.
